Background
Maeve were engaged by Collins to deliver the complete drylining and ceilings package across seven floors, providing a high quality fit out tailored to modern teaching and learning requirements for NYU. The works supported the creation of contemporary academic and social spaces aligned with the university’s international standards.
Solutions
The scope of works included perimeter linings, internal partitions and suspended ceilings, together with SFS and insulated rendered encasements to the firefighting staircase. Maeve also delivered tailored fire encasement and compartmentation details to the mansard linings, ensuring full compliance with fire strategy and building control requirements.
In addition, the package incorporated the design and installation of timber wall and ceiling cladding to receptions, lecture theatres and a feature staircase, SFS partitions forming plant room enclosures, and the construction of lecture theatre stadia.
